Justice in Action: Free Legal Aid in Dandora

On October 17th, Wote Kwa Wote CBO, in partnership with Amka Africa Justice Initiative and SHOFCO Kenya, brought crucial legal support to the Dandora community. Over the course of this impactful event, we worked to ensure access to justice for vulnerable community members facing legal challenges.

During this period, Amka Africa's young lawyers and university law students offered free legal advice and assistance in cases involving family issues, land disputes, employment conflicts, and more. Community members received one-on-one sessions with lawyers, giving them the chance to understand their rights, discuss legal options, and gain clarity on paths toward resolution.

Impact:

  • Free legal consultations for family, land, and employment issues
  • Interactive legal awareness sessions on key rights
  • One-on-one sessions with qualified lawyers and law students
  • Empowering community members with legal knowledge and resources
